Are you tired of losing weight by dieting? You have even tried weight loss pills which provide you with temporary weight loss. Initially, you are delighted as you see your weight start to drop. But after some time, you notice that your weight do not seem to decrease. In fact, they are coming back. You start to slowly gain weight and after some time, it is back to the old you. So what happened?

Taking weight loss pills are only a short-term measure. It will never work in the long-term. In order to lose weight permanently and keep the fat away, you must know your caloric consumption every day.

In order for you to lose weight permanently, you have to make sure that your caloric expenditure is always more than your caloric consumption and you have been practicing this in your diet.

As with most people who are on diet, they will starve themselves in order to lose weight. This is not a good practice because as you starve and get hungry, your brain will create a signal to reserve fat for future usage. When this happens, instead of consuming your body fat, your body will be consuming your muscle for whatever energy it needs. This is certainly disastrous as your body’s ability to burn fat will decrease dramatically as this happens.

Next is the weight loss pills that you are popping. Your body will react the exact way as if you are on a diet if you are taking appetite control pills. For other pills i.e. pills that will increase your metabolism and reduce starch intake, these will only work for temporal and will fail in the long-term. Besides, it is not always healthy to take these pills.

In order for you to shed those pounds and keep it away permanently, here are 3 things you need to do:

1. You must do cardio exercises

Practice cardio exercises at maximum 65 to 85% of your heart rate. This will ensure you burning a lot of calories.

2. Do weight lifting

You can grow your muscles by training with weight. Training with weight will also prevent muscle loss. As you have seen in the article earlier, the more muscles you have, your ability to burn more fat will also increase. You will even burn more fat when you are taking a rest.

3) Take small and frequent meals

When you take small and frequent meals, your brain will signal to your body not to reserve any fat for energy. This is because when you take small and frequent meals, your brain will assume that the availability of food is abundance.

You should be eating food between 3 to 6 hours. Having said that, you must always ensure that these meals are small enough in such a way they do not exceed your caloric expenditure.

When you do the above mentioned steps on regular basis and make it a habit to practice them, then your weight loss target will not be far from you. You will not only lose weight but will also be able to keep fat from coming back; this is great news as it simply means losing weight on permanent basis.
